Title: Anyone recommend a good browser for a tablet?
Post by: Bowdon on February 07, 2017, 11:44:26 AM
Does anyone recommend a good browser for an andriod tablet?

I preferably want one with a good adblocker on. I did try firefox with adblockplus but it didnt seem as flexible as the pc firefox/adblock.. i also tried the adblock browser on there too and that was bit fiddly.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? Or what do you use?

I've tried a few, and have settled on Ghostery. Opera is good too, but, at least on my Nexus 7, the text is smaller than I'd like.

Hmm I don't think I've used Ghostery before. Opera seems good recently. I was testing the VPN on the PC version, it works pretty good.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will have a look for them.

The Lightning is a good browser also, though there's a minimal fee to get the pro version with ad block feature.

If you care about your data and privacy, go for Yandex Browser :)

Not sure I'd consider a browser based in Russia one which is good for security
