I just went to the BT website and noticed the adblock was disabled. The icon was shaded out. So I went to the settings to see if I had previously selected to disable it on BT's website, and I hadn't.
So have BT found a way to disable adblock?
See if your adblock addon is disabled when you go to the BT website?

Still shows red for me.

More likely a side effect of the current major UK wide problem(s) than anything specific to Adblock ....

I dont use adblock, but ublock. Adblock does I believe allowed paid sites to bypass its protection.

It's weird. It's still showing disabled even though its not set to disabled in the options.
I dont think ive white listed the bt site.
I might try a re-install of it.

I noticed someone on the adblock forum having the exact same issue as me a few years ago.
He hit report the page and after me selected adblock wasnt blocking advertisements despite me having it enabled. It said adblock was disabled on this page and it was probably during to my configuration settings. It then give me an option to change the configuration settings and then to reload the webpage before I submitted the report.
So I selected to change the configuration settings (which it does without me having to do anything else), and then I selected to reload the page and now adblock is back working again.

give me the url and I will test, no point testing if I dont know the "exact" page you visited. BT's website will have several pages.

Is this a Firefox add-in that you are referring to?
I use an iPad app with that name, or similar.

It was http://home.bt.com (http://home.bt.com)
@Weaver It's probably the same addon. They have done it for a few devices and browsers.
The issue seems to be fixed by a configuration change. Though I'm not sure what it changed but it now works.

Ublock for me shows some blocking on domains etc on this site, certainly nothing has been disabled.

Showing red for me.

is fine here.
Note my ublock is in advanced mode also.
It blocks all 3rd party scripts and 3rd party frames unless I whitelist them.
I only had to whitelist bt.com on that page for it to display properly and with no ad's.
