Title: Happy Birthday Windows 95 - 20 today!
Post by: sheddyian on August 24, 2015, 03:19:42 PM
Windows 95 was released to the public on 24th August 1995, so it's 20 years old today.

Those of us who had to use Windows 3.11 found it a very welcome update.

To celebrate, have a look at this

(That page requires the modern ShockWave Flash to play)

I just ignored it and carried on using Win NT (and WfW 3.11 too as a development target occasionally).

 :D

I have never used it, neither its predecessors nor successors. But I recognise some of those "noises" from being near to someone else attempting to use the M$ offerings!
