Title: Android Browsers
Post by: UncleUB on June 25, 2014, 06:42:21 PM
Having tried various browsers on my Galaxy Note 2 I came across this browser yesterday.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ksmobile.cb

I can't believe how fast it loads web pages, its like lightning  :o Its only 1.6mb in size.
I only came across it by accident as I use their security software app which is also excellent, both apps get average 4.7 out of 5.0 ratings

I just use Firefox myself.

Had a look at the AV, the author is a bit full of himself as it isn't #1 on AV-TEST & in fact has only been tested in March & May this year. Doesn't mean its not up to the job, just means that the (somewhat extravagant) claims of 200million users & 16 years of "history" in the security business are suspect in my view. Edit - actually scratch that, looks like they were tested under a different name - AV & Security were tested seperately (not that the "security" app seems to do very much, probably why they got bundled later).

Personally I use Eset for server, desktop/laptop & mobile as I've used them for the best part of a decade.
