Title: Notification - Maintenance 7pm this evening

Just a heads up that I will be taking the forums offline (hopefully briefly) at about 7pm.  :fingers:

Theres a new (free) version of Tapatalk for users, but it seems to be causing some conflicts with SMF.   
I cant see anything that is affecting the Tapatalk user, other than perhaps PMs..  but it does seem to be generating problems within the forum logs.

I've spent much of today tracking down various bugs & I'm going to attempt a few fixes, but taking the forum offline just so I can roll back if anything goes wrong. 

Im hoping this works because SMF seems to have withdrawn support for the tapatalk mod (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=379720.msg3575759#msg3575759) :/

Glad all went well  :)

Didn't notice though as my internet went down from around 1.30pm yesterday and came back up sometime during the night

Apparently it was a loss of power somewhere,Northern Power was on the onto it so must have been quite big.I never knew that the streets cabinets pull their power off the same power that runs the street lights(Well that is what someone said on the DR forum)

Sorry people, but I still appear to have a conflict somewhere with the installed mods.

I'm going to completely uninstall tapatalk and some of my other mods which affect login and registration.   
This will unfortunately involve more downtime again this evening. :(

Ive put the forums back online.

Tapatalk however is not working for the time being.   No point in the rest of the forums being offline whilst I try fix things.

PS It was only back for 2mins before I had to take it down again :(

What's 'Tapatalk ' ?.
