Has anyone solid information on using the scanner function of this device on Win7/64SP1 ?
A drivers help forum seems to indicate it has been done 3 years ago, but with outside help so don't know how. Epson suggeted a driver and when I couldn't get that to work said it wasn't possible.
With one of the several drivers available on the Epson site I got it to work, once, but it didn't survive switching off ?.
As the printer function worked easily first time and there is a work round for scanning it isn't a matter of life and death, but it would be nice to know how.
The frustrating experience has increased my belief that a lot of IT people think it is about concealing information !!
