Hi Dee..j,  :)

Like Walter Said...
Yep! - I'm having exactly the same problem as you  :'(

The problems are definitely AOL's side of things... Not Ours!

AOL used to have a message board ( Forum ) but they closed it down . Save people being able to talk AOL with each other.
But!
Talk Talk does have a Forum.
And as Talk Talk owns AOL ( AOL uses one of Talk Talks IP ranges 92. - AOL uses the Talk Talk DNS Servers - Both AOL & Talk Talk are owned by Opal )
Reading the Talk Talk forum has proven to be a real eye opener  ::)
Basically...
Talk Talk support forum is completely flooded with people having the same problems as me you: http://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=41

Mine is very inconsistent as well.

This is only the second time it has happened over the past few months, even so, it shouldn't be.  Specially when they can't update us or help.  What a poor, poor company.

Started having this problem again over the past few days with my DSL being pretty stable but internet light going red.

Have stumbled across this on the TalkTalk forums (although i'm on AOL i presume it's still similar - http://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44381&page=42 )

Looks like they have ongoing problems with this.

They mention they keep rebooting there router.  I just leave mine and it usually resyncs after a couple of hours.

I'm pretty sure this is not a problem at my end and got to be at the exchange, as no passwords, details or anything has been changed.  What you guys and gals thing?

Morning by the way :D

Hi

Thanks for the response, tbh i don't really want to be messing with my settings.  The disconnections are quite rare except for the past day or two.

For example, we had problems last night but it's been up for 12 hours so touch wood.

Strange regarding the outages, everytime it goes off i check the talk talk outages page and nothing ever for my area.

(Rotherham / Sheffield).

Unfortunately, AOL have no help pages, forum or people representing there customer service or technical support who have a basic knowledge of computers let alone the internet.
