Unable to install DIVX installer for VOD on my PS3

Ok guys,

I have been trying to install a DIVX installer onto my PS3 to play VOD but the installer is a .exe file and the PS3 will not recognise it. I have gone through the process of registering the DIVX VOD code that is located on the PS3 and put this onto a usb flash drive but i can't complete the process until i am able to get this DIVX installer installed onto the PS3. Is there any converters that would be recommended to use to convert this file into a file that the PS3 will recongnize and i will still beable to go through the installation process. I spent over 2 hours last night wrecking my brains on this one and i have run out of ideas. Also tried downloading the installer from vod.divx.com onto my usb flash drive but because of the file type being .exe it didn't work at all. As always your response to this is most welcome.
