I got all excited when I read Kent, then I saw it was Gillingham
Still it all sounds like a good step in the right direction.
Gillingham is only at 92.2% >100Mb so desperately needs the trial.
It's a step in the right direction but let's hope they get on with things now.
G.fast is still not really ready for a big release and they are going to be very reluctant to overbuild FTTC with FTTP so I'm interested to see how quickly this progresses.
Openreach aren't getting a speed prize with G.fast, Virgin Media will release something faster immediately, may help with competitiveness though.
