Sky's Sagemcom F@ST 2504n (BCM6362) finally Unlocked (for sky users)

mrmt32 on SkyUser has finally unlocked and created a brilliant custom firmware for the Sagemcom F@ST 2504N (which uses a Broadcom 6362 chipset) - it includes Advanced Stats Graphs and SNRM Tweaking within the GUI itself...

cant wait to get mine back from my sister on Wednesday :)

Finally!!! I can finally buy one to try out on my connection.

Edit: I just re-read the SkyUser thread. The thread title is slightly misleading here on Kitz as the router hasn't actually been 'unlocked' (so it can be used on another ISP). The Sagem web interface has just been unlocked.

it seems that it is possible to set it up, but it might be over-ridden by built in usernames etc - their are users testing it on SkyUser, I would imagine that mrmt32 will have this sorted so it can work on other ISPs soon

well I got my 2504N and installed the latest modded version of sky's v6 firmware.. straight out the box it was 1Mb faster than the v5 firmware giving me a speed of 17.7Mb on 7db SNRM - I then tweaked it trying to get 19Mb and I managed to get it with a 4db SNRM, really happy with it.

have access to graphs directly in the router and a sagemcom advanced option section with QoS, Parental Control and IP/MAC Filtering and much more...

SNRM Tweak built in too
